Why we support TEF: Being a school board member, I believe in giving our students the best opportunities, and all the support they can get. I try and do this through the district, but also through TEF. TEF provides great opportunities for our students, and I am happy that we are able to provide funding for grants to teachers, and students. Our district is undergoing some amazing things, and we are there to continue to help move them forward!

Other Interests: I am the head of the Junior Varsity boys basketball coach for James Buchanan and one of the assistant varsity coaches.
Why we support TEF: In working at the district, I feel my job is to provide the best educational atmosphere for our students as I possibly can, and TEF adds another dimension to that. The ability to provide educational grants, to help take our district to the next level for our students, and faculty puts Tuscarora School District in an excellent position moving forward.

Other interests: I am also the recording secretary for the Buchanan Lioness. I enjoy being part of organizations that are here for their community.
Why we support TEF: Education is the strong foundation for our future. I went through the Tuscarora school system as did my daughter. I have seen first hand the good TEF has brought about. Being a part of helping our children take advantage of all this district has to offer is very rewarding. At the end of the day, its a great feeling knowing we’ve contributed to the well being of our students.

Why we support TEF: As a business leader in the local community, I believe we should have creative, exciting and “outside of the box” opportunities for our students. TEF provides funding for such opportunities whether it be in the sciences, languages or technology. Over the years, programs such as Author Illustrated, Trout in the Classroom and Elementary Science day, have demonstrated that this can be done.

Why we support TEF: Currently, my wife Ame and I own and operate three successful businesses. In 2010, she started a consignment shop; “The Dressing Room” located in Mercersburg and are happy to be a part of the downtown community. Our son Jonathan is currently attending James Buchanan High School, and we feel is it crucial to support the local community, our students and future leaders, and offer as many opportunities to our youth as we can.
